Initial Consult:
The initial meeting with VEI Creative is to discuss project objectives and client responsibilities. The project objectives are simply what the project in and of itself will entail based solely on what you are trying to accomplish; ‘your message’ - via a print ad, poster, brochure, website, logo, etc. Make the objectives specific. From this initial communication, a design brief is developed. Upon agreement by both parties a contract is signed along with an initial 50% deposit. At this time the client provides all necessary approved files (text/ad copy, mockups, images, etc.) associated with the project.  Any additional file manipulation will incur additional charges. See our 'Terms and Conditions'.

Comps:
Comps can take on many forms. I find putting pencil to paper before all else, produces the best results. It provides a stage for brainstorming that is otherwise hindered by simply jumping on to the computer. Once we're focused on the strongest direction, we will develop and design several comps of related ideas viewable as PDF files.  When a general design theme is agreed upon we will translate them into more finished project drafts for comment and final revision.

Presentation and Revisions:
The revision process allows you the client to make all necessary changes to your complete satisfaction. This may take several rounds of exchanges. This proofing system allows VEI Creative to work closely with clients, eliciting feedback throughout the creative process and ensuring client satisfaction with the final product. However, any graphical changes made after final approval will incur additional charges. See our 'Terms and Conditions'.

Fulfillment: (prior to releasing any project files, all projects must be signed off on by all appropriate parties and final payment must be made.)
Print projects are collected for output and then either returned to the client or sent directly to press. Final artwork for logo design will be provided to the client in all formats for both print and web. When designing for the web, clients are requested to purchase their own hosting (see resources for recommendations) and at time of launch, VEI will post the final website files to the client's server. For further clarification, please review our 'Terms and Conditions'. Our commitment however does not end there, we will follow up with you to ensure your complete satisfaction and serve as a continued resource for your creative needs.
